How Padool handles your data
Effective date: March 9, 2026. Padool uses your data to run the product, improve reliability, and improve the user experience. Padool does not use your data for advertising, does not sell your data, and does not resell your data.
Data We Collect
- Account data such as user ID, email when available, sign-in provider, and session metadata.
- Profile data such as name, preferred name, role, age range, and gender.
- Personalization choices and onboarding state.
- Seasonal, weekly, daily, archive, and related planning state.
- Sync, migration, and device-side app metadata needed to restore continuity.
- Optional support submissions when you choose to send a bug report or idea.
Product Analytics
- Padool uses PostHog for product analytics.
- Product analytics are always enabled in the current release.
- Product analytics cannot currently be turned off in the app.
- Product analytics are used to improve app reliability, stability, performance, and user experience.
- Product analytics are not used for advertising or ad targeting.
- Product analytics data is not sold or resold.
Service Providers
Padool currently uses:
- Supabase for authentication and cloud sync.
- PostHog for product analytics.
- Sentry for crash diagnostics.
- Google Forms for optional support submissions.
Your Controls
You can update your profile and personalization settings, reset planning data while keeping your account, or permanently delete your Padool account data from inside the app.
Deleting your account does not necessarily remove analytics, crash diagnostics, or support submissions that were already processed by service providers before deletion. Those records may remain subject to the provider's normal retention period.
